Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED ) preferred
Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
Must be able to lift up to 8 0lbs.
Vision requirement of at least 20/40 for near and far vision.
Bump cap, hair/ beardnet , eye protection/goggles, hand protection, hearing protection and safety shoes
Proper lifting , Lock/Tag/Try Authorized and PPE

Responsibilities

General operation of Multivac at end of Microwave line.
Ensures proper scaling and quality of finished packages.
Loads films, both forming and nonforming .
Programs M ultivac and changes programs as needed.
Records production to get film yields and keeps film inventory.
Sets up and operates machine , making minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
Monitors finished packages for leaks, gas mix, etc. and keeps seal area clear of product.
Maintains quality and weights as .
Adjusts depth of tools for different size packages.
Changes from gas flush to vacuum pack as needed.
Covers water sensitive areas of the machine before clean up.
Fills out production and down time reports.
Changes gas cylinders as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.
