Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED ) preferred
  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 8 0lbs.
  • Vision requirement of at least 20/40 for near and far vision.
  • Bump cap, hair/ beardnet , eye protection/goggles, hand protection, hearing protection and safety shoes
  • Proper lifting , Lock/Tag/Try Authorized and PPE

Responsibilities

  • General operation of Multivac at end of Microwave line.
  • Ensures proper scaling and quality of finished packages.
  • Loads films, both forming and nonforming .
  • Programs M ultivac and changes programs as needed.
  • Records production to get film yields and keeps film inventory.
  • Sets up and operates machine , making minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
  • Monitors finished packages for leaks, gas mix, etc. and keeps seal area clear of product.
  • Maintains quality and weights as .
  • Adjusts depth of tools for different size packages.
  • Changes from gas flush to vacuum pack as needed.
  • Covers water sensitive areas of the machine before clean up.
  • Fills out production and down time reports.
  • Changes gas cylinders as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.
