About The Position
The Lead Person, Packaging, Multi-line is responsible for providing direction and trouble-shooting in the packaging group over two or more packaging lines. This is in addition to knowledge and skills of the highest level within the areas where direction is being given. The position requires spending up to 50% of work time providing guidance to others in the packaging work group including troubleshooting problems. The Lead Person must understand internal customer needs and take action to meet expectations, know the daily schedule and performance targets, and maintain the highest level of packaging skills. They are also responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO, FAMIQS, HAACP, and other registrations within the plant if relevant, and must communicate effectively with the Packaging and Processing teammates.
