Shift Time: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm How Will You Make an Impact?: An advanced manufacturing and quality inspection position in an ISO certified environment that supports processing of OEM antibodies and other immunoassay products. At this level, the associate will be expected to train and maintain proficiency in receiving, quality inspection and packaging processes and fluidly move between these key roles to meet product demands.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/General Educational Development (GED) Certificate is required
  • 3 years of quality inspection experience or Bachelors of Science degree in a Biochemical / Biological sciences, Chemistry, or Life science emphasis preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic scientific calculations
  • Ability to be detail oriented and accurate
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with intermediate PC applications – ability to use inventory management system, receiving, and label software.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment when required
  • Able to sit/stand/walk regularly
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow: Safe lab practices Good documentation practices.
  • The associate is expected to maintain detailed documentation and implement updates in support of ISO requirements
  • Commit to producing and maintaining the highest standard of quality in antibody processing
  • Drive continuous growth through training and participation in systems such as: 5S, Lean and Practical Process Improvement
  • Ensure on-time delivery of production work and projects
  • Process products as a key member of an integrated manufacturing and quality team
  • Flexibly and independently transition between the following roles as required by production demand: Product Receiving Receive goods into the company inventory management system Manage products, paperwork and vendor information to maintain traceability and avoid mix-ups Quality Inspection Perform inspection of incoming antibody products according to established procedures to ensure compliance with specifications Check incoming product, matching packing slips with purchase orders Complete required inspection records per standard operating procedures Review and create datasheets Contact vendors with questions on datasheets and origin surveys Document changes per defined standard operating procedures Enter relevant product notes into a quality database Initiate material rejections as required Maintain and report on daily statistics Product Packaging and Disposition Print finished good labels and verify their accuracy Dispense liquid antibody products using micropipettes as required Relabel finished good antibody products Perform finished good packaging of antibody products Put antibody products to stock using company inventory management system Maintain accurate inventory with all transactions
