About The Position

The J.R. Simplot Company is a diverse, privately held global food and agriculture company headquartered in Boise, Idaho. This job is responsible for operating material handling equipment in a safe manner for the purpose of moving, locating, stacking and counting merchandise.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1+ years related experience and/or training
• Ability to safely operate a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, and high stacking totes

Responsibilities

• Read daily order sheet to be able to select and move the correct tote of product
• Move finished pallets of product from the roasting room to the warehouse or loading dock
• Moves empty totes to be cleaned
• Handles inventory receiving transactions
• Adheres to all company policies and safety rules
• Assist other packaging employees within their job duties including using chemicals and water to clean and sanitize packaging equipment, palletizing and break down empty totes
• Perform other duties as assigned
