About The Position

The Packaging Executive will join the Product Management team, specifically the UK Distribution Product Management team, which plays a critical role in sustaining Sika’s market-leading position. This team develops, implements, and manages an innovative product portfolio that delivers against commercial, legislative, and performance objectives, ensuring solutions consistently exceed customer expectations. The purpose of this role is to manage new and updated product packaging through the packaging change process, ensuring accurate, appealing presentation and compliance with all relevant regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Organisational skills necessary to balance the demands of running multiple projects at the same time
  • Knowledge of packaging materials and their properties
  • Project and change Management skills
  • IT Literate (SAP, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to analyse costs and identify cost-saving opportunities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience of working within a Manufacturing organisation
  • Knowledge of print processes, packaging machinery and equipment
  • A general knowledge of CLP regulations

Responsibilities

  • Delivering timely and accurate packaging updates to ensure the product portfolio remains fully compliant with all local regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with wider Sika country teams to successfully bring new intercompany winning products to market.
  • Addressing the growing demands of packaging EPR by capturing accurate, detailed packaging data and developing innovative solutions to enhance the sustainability credentials of Sika’s product portfolio.
