About The Position

The position is responsible for operating and maintaining high-speed packaging lines. This role is for 2nd Shift 4:00PM - 2:00AM Monday - Thursday. All hours worked between 6:00PM and 6:00AM receive an additional $6.00/hour differential.

Requirements

• Previous experience with high speed production equipment desired
• Solid mechanical skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read reports, instructions, and procedures

Responsibilities

• Conducts machine start-up, operation, and shutdown relevant to equipment area
• Conducts initial troubleshooting of equipment and production issues and makes appropriate adjustment as needed
• Engages in quality assurance activities (corrective action, sensory evaluation, sampling, testing, etc.)
• Loads/unloads material and finished product, including driving fork lifts
• Ensures clean work environment
• Adheres to SOG’s (Standard Operating Guidelines) and checklists
• Trains new personnel and other team members when needed
• Other duties as assigned
