In this role, you will execute solutions on packaging design and usage and related safety, quality, delivery, and cost. What you can look forward to doing in this role:

Requirements

A working knowledge of Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Extensive experience in Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
A working knowledge of Packaging: Knowledge of packaging tools, approaches and practices; ability to package products and components safely and in a way that protects part quality.
Extensive experience in Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with leading and driving Continuous Improvement that drives cost saving efficiency.

Responsibilities

Designing packaging for products or parts; providing detailed guidance and specifications to suppliers.
Identifying parts and material suppliers to determine the optimal method of packaging product for various distribution networks.
Following procedures in approving all packaging for a specific product line.
Monitoring and evaluating quality and effectiveness of existing packaging; addressing issues caused by transportation damage.
Evaluating packaging materials, automation technologies and machinery, and reporting the results regularly.
