The Packaging Engineer/Mechanical Engineer position involves supporting and/or leading the design, development, and implementation of new sterile disposable packaging designs utilized in radiology and cardiovascular medical procedures. The role requires the use of CAE tools such as CAD, FEA, Moldflow, and CFD to develop and analyze packaging designs. Additionally, the engineer will conduct or direct testing in a research and development lab environment to verify concept packaging designs. The position also involves creating and modifying sterile disposable packaging designs using CAD software like Pro Engineer and CREO, with the possibility of 3D printing CAD models.
