As a Packaging Employee, you’ll support daily production by preparing, inspecting, labeling, and packaging finished products while following all food safety and quality requirements. You’ll be part of a collaborative operations team that values safety, consistency, and teamwork.   Our Packaging Employee Opportunity This role provides a steady, full‑time opportunity to build experience in food manufacturing while contributing to a safe, efficient, and quality‑driven operation. Requirements

  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced production environment
  • Basic math skills for counting and recordkeeping
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (8–10 hours per shift)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs regularly
  • Repetitive hand and wrist motions during packaging tasks
  • Work in a refrigerated, USDA‑inspected food production environment (PPE required and provided)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior food manufacturing or meat processing experience preferred (training provided)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare finished products for packaging by clipping, peeling, delinking, and feeding product into packaging equipment
  • Properly place product into thermoforming packaging equipment according to specifications
  • Apply labels accurately, verifying correct product, weight, and date information
  • Box finished product following established case pack specifications
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and food safety requirements (HACCP, SQF)
  • Assist with sanitation and housekeeping at the end of production runs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Notify leadership of any safety, quality, or equipment concerns
