About The Position

As a core member of our production team, you will be expected to oversee the proper flow of finished product entering & existing the packaging equipment to include case packing, shrink wrappers, and other peripheral packaging processes. You will be responsible for maintaining the packaging center Sanitation in accordance with all Company guidelines and state/federal regulations. Perry’s will help you to achieve all of the above goals through feedback, education, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Must have basic mechanical skills.
• Must be willing to learn & become well versed in the operation of shrink wrappers, case packers & other peripheral support packaging equipment.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions and effectively communicate with all levels of co-workers.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time.
• Willing to learn and adhere to Department specific SQF & GMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the proper flow of finished product entering & existing the packaging equipment.
• Maintain the packaging center sanitation in accordance with all Company guidelines and state/federal regulations.
• Support the production of safe, high quality products and team member safety.
• Be proficient at recordkeeping and doing so in a timely manner.
• Clean/maintain the packaging center in a sanitary manner as per Company policies/programs.
