About The Position

The Packaging Associate is responsible for inspecting, assembling, labeling, and packaging materials and products according to specifications. This role ensures accuracy in frame dimensions, proper hardware inclusion, and safe packaging for shipment. The position also supports general warehouse operations, including inventory preparation and maintaining a clean workspace.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in packaging, warehouse, or manufacturing environments is a plus
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders or proofs
  • Basic Math and counting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Requires use of proper body mechanics with pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, squatting, kneeling and bending
  • Pushing/pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity, and coordination
  • Requires near visual acuity
  • Requires working around and operating departmental equipment
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility
  • Requires the ability to function in a professional manner under stressful circumstances
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Previous experience in packaging, warehouse, or manufacturing environments is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify frame proofs, including dimensions, quantities, and required hardware
  • Ensure all frame sizes are accurate, and appropriate hardware is selected and prepared
  • Label frames clearly using designated numbering and lettering systems
  • Safely package frames using foam, bubble wrap, and appropriate boxing materials
  • Label cartons with correct shipping and product information and place them on designated skids
  • Assist with preparation of parts kits (parts bags) during downtime to maintain inventory levels
  • Support warehouse organization, including cleaning and restacking products as needed
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
