About The Position

Verifies quantity, quality, and labeling of products ready for shipment by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensures correct box type, box liners and packing methods are used. Assembles boxes and affixes labels on packaging. Examines packs or bottles and contents of items for conformance to customer specifications. Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of computers and the ability to input data into a computer.
• Lift 25-50 pounds 150-300 times during the shift
• Stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift
• Use hands to finger, grip, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
• Talk and hear
• Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
