The Packaging Assistant will be responsible for general cleaning of work areas, including the cleaning of our printing plant and restrooms. The role involves assisting in machine setup, including bundle tops for the mailing process, jogging and loading preprints into the machine, and catching bundles off the packaging end of the machine. Additional responsibilities include strapping bundles with a strapper, stacking strapped bundles onto skids or carts, and delivering finished products to staging areas for delivery or pickup using a skid jack. The Packaging Assistant will also be responsible for tagging totes and mail bags with proper tags and cleaning up skids, bundles, and papers for recycling.
