About The Position

The J.R. Simplot Company is a diverse, privately held global food and agriculture company headquartered in Boise, Idaho. We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture. This job is responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining all packaging equipment and personnel assigned to Line 1, Line 2 and Line 3. This job is responsible for working with the Packaging Supervisor and Packaging Area Coordinators to lead and manage the activities of the packaging department.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Demonstrate an ability to maintain awareness of current operating conditions.
• Strong leadership skills and positive work relationships.
• Effective coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Through the use of the inventory control system, this position is responsible for printing tickets and placing them on pallets and totes of product.
• Maintain records of production and held and reworked product.
• Responsible for cleaning food contact surfaces, floors, framework and the remainder of the assigned work area.
• Manage and direct the team in accomplishing safe and efficient palletizing of product.
• Transport product and supplies.
• Ensure all paperwork, forms, reports, and computer data entry are completed and submitted in an accurate and timely manner.
• Comply with all sanitation standards.
