This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the packaging process including production performance to ensure that production targets are met. Why A-Gas? Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Must be able to obtain EPA 608 Certification
Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week and be available for overtime hours
Must have high attention to detail to receive, inspect, and certify incoming and outgoing cylinders
Must be able to follow standard operating procedures
Must be able to handle high-pressure and liquid cylinders

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with compressed gas and/or gas cylinders is a plus

Responsibilities

Operating packaging equipment; including process pumps, compressors, warehousing equipment, and forklifts.
Report any faults and maintenance issues to ensure site safety and product quality.
Encourage and participate in a Health and Safety culture to ensure a safe working environment.
Work in accordance with all company policies relating to health and safety and carry out tasks in a safe manner as detailed in the standard operational procedures, so as to protect the health and safety of yourself and others.
Communicate with logistics to ensure that all bulk and packaged deliveries are executed in accordance with customer requirements.
Responsible for ensuring that quality control is implemented on a constant basis.
Personally follow all operational processes and carry out quality control checks and ensure the close inspection of work activities of the team.
Reinforce the importance of the Awareness policy to site personnel, in order to keep the smooth and safe running of workshop operations.
Carry out checks of incoming products and materials, and site generated AHRI and customer drums.
Carry out operational activities including preparing, filling, picking, and dispatching cylinders.
Any other tasks, as required
