Requirements

Ability to work in environments with regular chemical exposure while strictly following all safety protocols.
Ability to interpret MSDS's and understand Hazardous Identification System.
Organizational, communication and problems solving skills.
Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Ability to frequently lift 40 lb. pails, occasionally move 60 lbs. using proper equipment and lifting techniques.
This position requires reaching, pulling, and bending.

Responsibilities

Work from factory orders and verbal instructions to package materials and fill containers.
Operate filling, packing, weighing equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead hoists to move products, skids, and pots.
Apply labels and covers; build cartons; weigh, count, and record production tallies.
Partner with the Team Leader to plan, coordinate, and control packing and filling activities, providing updates on work order status and estimated completion times.
Monitor product quality to guarantee conformance to established standards.
Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas, equipment, and packaging workstations (including setup, breakdown, and cleanup).
Assist with monitoring packaging material inventory to ensure adequate stock levels for production demands.
Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures; properly use required personal protective equipment.
Perform other related duties as required to assist team members to reach production and quality goals.
Promote, support, and adhere to all safety, environmental and quality-related policies, and procedures.
