Requirements

  • Ability to work in environments with regular chemical exposure while strictly following all safety protocols.
  • Ability to interpret MSDS's and understand Hazardous Identification System.
  • Organizational, communication and problems solving skills.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Ability to frequently lift 40 lb. pails, occasionally move 60 lbs. using proper equipment and lifting techniques.
  • This position requires reaching, pulling, and bending.

Responsibilities

  • Work from factory orders and verbal instructions to package materials and fill containers.
  • Operate filling, packing, weighing equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead hoists to move products, skids, and pots.
  • Apply labels and covers; build cartons; weigh, count, and record production tallies.
  • Partner with the Team Leader to plan, coordinate, and control packing and filling activities, providing updates on work order status and estimated completion times.
  • Monitor product quality to guarantee conformance to established standards.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas, equipment, and packaging workstations (including setup, breakdown, and cleanup).
  • Assist with monitoring packaging material inventory to ensure adequate stock levels for production demands.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures; properly use required personal protective equipment.
  • Perform other related duties as required to assist team members to reach production and quality goals.
  • Promote, support, and adhere to all safety, environmental and quality-related policies, and procedures.
