About The Position

Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Packaged Application Development Associate Manager in Arlington, VA, and the job duties are as follows: Develop or update project plans for information technology projects, including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. Develop system specifications and interfaces for moderately complex components. Provide primary support for installation of application releases into production. Maintain applications according to SLAs. Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of information technology projects. Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system rollouts, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications. Understand strategic direction, and implement methods and procedures set by management. Work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications. Provide performance feedback for project team members.

Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
  • Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: Implementing, configuring, upgrading and maintaining Oracle Enterprise packaged applications, databases in On-premises, and public and private Cloud infrastructure services; Leading the projection execution technical team and point of escalation for the technical issues in the project; Interfacing with project management and leadership team on project related tasks, issues and escalations; Leading troubleshooting and triage of performance and health problems of database and application instances and servers in public and private clouds and provide resolution; Implementing, configuring and supporting Oracle Fusion Middleware WebLogic, Business Intelligence, Transport management, Single Sign-on and integration with E-Business suite package applications; Performing as a lead contributor for database sizing, capacity planning efforts, performance optimization for database and applications in on-premises, public and private cloud infrastructure; Designing, developing, automating, and monitoring regular support functions and critical patches for public and private cloud hosted databases and applications; and Identifying areas of improvement and working with Global DBA teams and supervisors to improve and automate.
  • Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
