About The Position

Organizes and sorts packages by destination within a warehouse or distribution center. They scan and label parcels, place items on appropriate conveyor belts or into bins, and ensure packages are correctly routed for timely dispatch. This role is essential for maintaining an efficient workflow and ensuring packages reach their destinations on time.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Warehouse receiving line experience 1 year required
• Skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Competencies: Material Resources Management, Information Organization, Verification

Responsibilities

• Determine what will be the source of each package
• Prepare the area and get the place ready for the shipment when the truck comes
• Check and verify that all the packages have been processed
• Sort packages once all the products are verified and checked
• Support and abide by the company’s safety program and all safety initiatives, policies and procedures
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
• Comply with OSHA and other appropriate standards
• Perform additional duties and/or projects as requested by management
