Package Machine Operator II
About The Position
Start, stop, operate and monitor poly forming, volumetric filling packaging machines to meet customer orders and specifications for product type, label, weight, quantity and quality. Completion of all associated records and paperwork and the keeping work area cleaned. Must be able to read production orders, print legibly, add subtract, multiply and divide, in whole numbers and decimals, follow detailed instructions. Must be able to lift heavy weights (up to 60#) occasionally and work standing up for periods of two hours or more at a time.

Responsibilities
- Start, stop, operate and monitor poly forming, volumetric filling packaging machines to meet customer orders and specifications for product type, label, weight, quantity and quality.
- Completion of all associated records and paperwork and the keeping work area cleaned.
- Responsible for food safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures.
- Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering your work area, asking if you can assist them, and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor.
- Attend training as required or approved by supervisor.
- Other duties may be assigned.
