About The Position

This position oversees the processing of inbound and outbound parcels at the company’s Downtown Los Angeles satellite office. He/She conducts pre-operation checks, manages sorting, loading and dispatch operations, and performs post-operation functions. Identify, analyze, and improve existing business processes within the operation to increase efficiencies and improve both employee and customer satisfaction levels. This includes leveraging data-driven approaches to problem-solving and decision-making. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness. He/She supervises hourly employees and works with outside guard services vendor.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Required
Management experience - Required
Advanced or intermediate level on Excel - Required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
Strong oral and written communication skills
Must currently reside in the same geographic location as the job or be willing to relocate promptly - Required
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Responsibilities

Analyzes previous dispatch results to maximize service performance and streamline routes and ensures inbound and outbound packages are processed, sorted, and leave the operation securely and on time.
Provide administrative and operations support of UPS Capital Parcel Pro services and customer needs.
Drive operational excellence through process improvement, quality management, and innovation in alignment with strategic business goals.
