About The Position

Spee Dee Delivery is a family owned and operated company that was started in 1978 by Donald and Sylvia Weeres. Our core business is in standard, next-day, ground delivery. The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years we have expanded throughout the Midwest. The Package Handler/Parker will ensure vehicles are unloaded, washed, and parked in a timely manner and help with the sortation of freight.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a manual transmission, or have the willingness to learn
• Ability to read labels at a fast pace and work independently
• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record which meets company standards

Responsibilities

• Drive empty fleet vehicles to the appropriate location to be washed and parked
• Oversee truck washing employees to ensure all vehicles are washed thoroughly
• Park fleet vehicles in the appropriate route docks
• Carry a radio and report vehicle swaps to leadership
• Communicate with the Fleet Maintenance departments regarding vehicle changes
• Support warehouse staff with sorting freight
• Sort, load, and unload freight in a safe and accurate manner
• Perform other required duties as assigned
