About The Position
Advanced Carrier Services is seeking motivated team players to join our delivery team as Driver Helpers. This position is ideal for individuals looking for a dynamic and active job where they can make a difference every day. As a Driver Helper, you will assist our team in delivering packages throughout the Sacramento area. You will partner with one of our senior drivers and be their "helper", which involves organizing, sorting, and lifting packages. No prior experience is required as we provide on-the-job training and opportunities for career growth. Importantly, no driving is required for this role! In this position, you will be responsible for loading and unloading packages, which can amount to over 300 packages per day. You will also handle large and bulky items, requiring team lifting for weights up to 50 pounds. Interacting with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner is essential. The job requires working 4 to 5 or more days per week, with shifts lasting up to 10 hours per day, including breaks. You will assist the driver with all deliveries and help with the driver's main duties while maintaining a good pace to achieve excellent metrics.
