Package Delivery Clerk – JLL What this job involves: JLL is seeking both experienced and entry-level Package Delivery Clerks to join our team at a client site in Creve Coeur, MO. This position involves working with diverse internal and external stakeholders to provide comprehensive warehouse and shipping support services. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a team player attitude, contributing directly to efficient client operations and JLL's commitment to exceptional facility management services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, twisting and operating manual pallet jacks
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with ability to interact professionally with client personnel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present information clearly and concisely
  • High degree of accuracy for handling sensitive equipment and proper routing of shipments
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment while managing multiple work streams and priorities
  • Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs and detect emergency alarms (auditory and visual)

Nice To Haves

  • Computer skills and experience with Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Previous warehouse or shipping experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience with inventory management systems and tracking software
  • Knowledge of shipping regulations and courier coordination processes
  • Basic understanding of data analytics and reporting tools

Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, process and distribute all incoming packages and pallets using proper documentation and tracking systems
  • Pick-up, process, validate documentation and coordinate handoff to designated freight suppliers for all client-outgoing packages
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using client inventory systems and enter Bill of Ladings for shipment tracking
  • Process desktop shipping labels for outbound shipments and prepare non-regulated packages for daily shipping
  • Utilize Trackpad scanners to scan and record all incoming and outgoing packages, troubleshooting equipment issues as needed
  • Create data analytics reports and provide metrics on incoming and outbound shipping operations
  • Manage temperature-sensitive shipments and coordinate package delivery to customer work areas while maintaining clean, orderly work conditions
