About The Position

The PACE Med-Cal Enrollmt/Marktng Specialist (Program for
All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) at Loma Linda University Health is
responsible for supporting the outreach manager and promoting and growing our
PACE ministry through community contact and integrating Senior Community Care as
a vital member of the healthcare and long-term care network. Coordinates the
PACE center enrollment and Medi-Cal eligibility process. Travels to participants
homes and community events is expected. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of marketing, communications, or business development experience required, preferably in the healthcare industry, PACE program, home health, or community-based long-term care setting with the elderly population.
• Must be able to speak Spanish.
• Knowledge of MediCaid/MediCare eligibility and enrollment processes and procedures.
• Understanding of physical, mental, and social needs of older adults.
• Able to type 30 WPM.
• Read, write legibly, and speak in English and Spanish with professional quality
• use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position.
• Relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
