About The Position

The PBX attendant provides telephone services for incoming and outgoing calls while delivering the highest level of service and courtesy.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all incoming and outgoing calls in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Provide guests with services such as wake-ups, messages, paging in Casino, long distance assistance and other special services such as screening calls, taking, inputting and giving messages.
  • Assist administration in locating other personnel, taking messages, and other miscellaneous requests.
  • To operate the ACD console and be familiar with all alarms.
  • Be able to operate the TDD machine.
  • Inform guests of functions and facilities upon request.
  • Responsible for keeping own information on personnel and departments up to date.
  • Read all posted yellows and memos.
