About The Position

The Senior Physician Assistant (PA) at UC San Diego Health will provide advanced medical care to patients, following established guidelines and collaborating with healthcare teams. Requirements

• Graduate from a physician assistant program approved by ARC-PA.
• California Physician Assistant (PA) license.
• Current PA Certification from NCCPA.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of three years experience as a Physician Assistant in an inpatient environment.
• Ability to perform initial history and physical examinations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior ICU experience as a Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care following standardized advanced practice procedure guidelines.
• Assess and manage patients with chronic and episodic health problems.
