About The Position

Job Summary ◦ The Nurse Practitioner works in collaboration with a physician for assistance in clinical decision-making, case management and evaluation of performance. The Nurse Practitioner provides triage and treatment of acute, self-limited medical conditions using telemedicine technology, performing examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and prescribing drugs or other therapies via two-way video consultations with patients. The Nurse Practitioner may work remotely from a previously designated and agreed upon work setting.

Requirements

Education: Required: Masters of Science in Nursing
Experience: Required: No Prior Experience Required
Skills: Must have access to a personal computer and reliable internet source in a private setting if working remotely
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
Proficient computer skills
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must have current MO RN license and needs to obtain NP credentials within 60 days of hire.
BLS within 90 days of hire
Required: MO Nurse Practitioner license
Successful completion of all department specific credentialing within first 90 days of employment
