About The Position

Mary Washington Healthcare's Gastroenterology practice in Fredericksburg, Virginia, is seeking PAs and NPs to join our growing practice of eleven physicians and eight advanced practice providers. We're looking for energetic, compassionate, and motivated candidates that are committed to delivering exceptional patient care. The position offers a balance of independent practice and direct supervision by a highly qualified and supportive team, with structured onboarding, mentoring, and supervisory training tailored to prior GI experience and comfort levels.

Requirements

• Active NP or PA license in the state of Virginia or eligible.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required.
• 1 year + experience in Gastroenterology preferred but not required; fresh grads are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of experienced GI physicians and APPs in a well-established and supported outpatient clinic.
• Focus areas include colon cancer screening/surveillance, Barrett's surveillance, and general GI issues such as GERD, dyspepsia, constipation/diarrhea, IBS, and general hepatology.
• Participate with inpatient GI consult rotations and occasional weekend coverage (shared among APPs).
• Utilize EPIC EMR in the Hospital and Clinic, gGastro and ProVation MD in the endoscopy centers.
