About The Position
University of Pittsburgh Physicians is hiring a Part-Time Hybrid Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to help support the UPMC Post-COVID Recovery Clinic. The primary duties include initial evaluations for patients who've previously had COVID and continue to experience a broad array of symptoms for weeks or even months following the infection. Competency in general/internal medicine is ideal as The UPMC Post-COVID Recovery clinic serves as a first point of contact at UPMC for patients with post-COVID concerns. This APP will have the opportunity to work with department leadership with regards to contributing to the UPMC research registry to enable patients to access opportunities such as NIH RECOVER trials that complement their clinical care. The supervising physicians at the UPMC's Post-COVID Clinic are pulmonary and exercise intolerance experts, and the position requires ability to initiate cardiopulmonary work ups and coordinate care to appropriate specialists.
