About The Position

MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Biddeford/ Sanford Emergency Department is seeking a per-diem Physician Associate/ Physician Assistant. This provider will work alongside our Emergency Department Physicians to provide care in our emergency departments in Biddeford and Sanford. Come join our excellent team of dedicated providers!

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and successful completion of accredited Physician Associate/Physician Assistant program.
• Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure.
• Experience working as a PA in Emergency Medicine is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to function as part of a team.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the emergency departments in Biddeford and Sanford.
• Work alongside Emergency Department Physicians.
• Triage, organize, and prioritize patient care effectively.
