About The Position

The P4 panel bender operator will demonstrate safe behaviors and maintain a safe work environment. The role includes identifying incoming materials, reading part prints, taking quality measures, and executing production schedules for the parts to be formed at the machine.

Requirements

• Able to run P4 software and controls.
• Software includes:
• Scan
• Monitor
• Easy Data
• Able to use all safety doors properly.
• Must know all functions of Control switches.
• Must know how to manually move scissor table.
• Must know how to create jobs file (group jobs together).
• Able to perform operator PM to include lubrication of blank holders, and rotator clamp replacements
• Able to manually load and unload all production parts in and out of machine.
• Able to make minor programming adjustments.
• Able to troubleshoot program problems and machine errors.
• Able to read prints and verify/measure parts are formed correctly and to print dimensions and all quality criteria.
• Must be able to bend and lift as needed. Standing/sitting up to 8 hours.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Equipment set up and operation of the Salvagnini P4 panel bender.
• Verify steel material types and availability.
• Must know all equipment functions:
• Step-by-step, automatic, and manual modes
• Inline and cut operations
• Loading, centering, and removing of parts
• CLA operations
• Initiate jobs and monitor job status
