The Instructor position at WorkSource Oregon in Corvallis, Oregon, is a vital role focused on teaching and mentoring students in the field of natural resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering approximately 27 to 30 credits per year, which includes both online (Ecampus) and in-person instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The courses taught may include, but are not limited to, Managing Natural Resources for the Future (NR 201), Natural Resource Problems and Solutions (NR 202), Natural Resource Decision Making (NR 455), Issues in Natural Resources Conservation (FES 365), Consensus and Natural Resources (FES 485), Public Lands Policy and Management (FES 486), Independent Projects in Natural Resource Sustainability (SNR 506), and Sustainable Natural Resource Development (SNR 512). Some of these courses may be offered multiple times throughout the academic year. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the Instructor will also engage in service activities, which account for 10% of the role. This includes participation in departmental, college, and university-level affairs and governance, as well as leadership in curriculum and program development.
