About The Position

The Food Service Worker position at Mount Healthy City Schools involves assisting with lunch meal preparation, which includes tasks such as sandwich making, bagging, and preparing fruits, salads, and hot vegetables. The role requires efficient operation of the cash register/POS during lunch service and serving food from various counters including hot food, pizza, veggies, and deli. Additional responsibilities include breakdown and cleanup of work areas, restocking serving lines with condiments, milk, fruit, veggies, and entrees, washing dishes, pots, and pans, sweeping and mopping floors, and putting away stock and non-food supplies. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to complete all duties within designated time frames
• Must be available to work extra hours if needed
• Must be customer service oriented
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work as a team
• HS diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift 50lb repetitiously
• Must be able to read and perform mathematical equations

Responsibilities

• Assist with lunch meal preparation including sandwich making & bagging, fruit, salad & hot veggie
• Efficiently operate cash register/POS during lunch meal service
• Serve food from the hot food counter, pizza, veggies & deli counter
