About The Position

The Hospitality Assistant position exists to provide stewardship for all aspects of serving couples through food service. This position is a temporary assignment designed to meet current ministry needs. The duration of the assignment may vary and could be short-term or long-term, depending on evolving business requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in food service preparation
• Must have Serve Safe Certification
• Strong customer service and people skills
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
• Flexible in adjusting priorities
• Ability to work with various food preparation machines and equipment, sharp knives, and various chemicals

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals from predetermined menus for intensives, retreats, and special events
• Serves, interacts, and is sensitive to the needs of the couples and guests
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and dining area, daily
• Observes and follows all Health Department Codes
• Attends and maintains Chemical Training
• Performs other duties as required
