About The Position

The Casino Accounting Bookkeeper is responsible for verifying the accuracy of bookkeeping information submitted by the Casinos and processing accounts payable for Lounge Corporation vendors. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to handle various accounting tasks efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Background in basic bookkeeping and prior work in an office setting is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a concise and accurate manner.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Experience in Office 365 (MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, Teams), Ring Central, Zoom, and PDI Enterprise/Oracle.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to operate a telephone and Xerox machine.
• Ability to operate a ten key adding machine with accuracy and speed.

Responsibilities

• Verify computer entries including other income, paid outs, deposits, VGM paid outs, credit card purchases, VGM readings, invoices in Enterprise and compare to receiving vouchers.
• Contact Casino Managers for paperwork clarification and issues resolution.
• Ensure all documentation is available for backup in case of issues.
• File all paid outs, credit card receipts, and VGM readings by location and box up for storage.
• Pay Lounge Corporation vendors.
• Reconcile Accounts Payable activity for all lounge corporations.
• File all accounts payable in the appropriate lounge.
• Complete all essential duties in a timely fashion and meet monthly reporting deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
