We are looking for a P/T Barista Associate who embodies these qualities and is ready to take our accounting area to the next level. Cloverkey is a national gift shop management firm known for delivering exceptional retail and café experiences in healthcare environments. In addition to operating The Eastside Café, Cloverkey also manages the hospital gift shop, providing a consistent, high-quality experience for patients, visitors, and staff. We are thrilled to open The Eastside Café at Piedmont Eastside Hospital and invite enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our team! Position Overview: As a Barista, you will be the heart of The Eastside Café, creating a welcoming environment and providing outstanding service to every guest. This role combines the art of coffee preparation with excellent customer engagement and maintaining a clean, organized café space.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of barista or café experience preferred, training provided.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, espresso, and other beverages according to Cloverkey quality standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide friendly, efficient service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including café equipment and customer areas.
- Handle cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately.
- Restock supplies, ingredients, and products as needed throughout the day.
- Collaborate with the café and gift shop team to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and hospital regulations.
