About The Position

What will you do? Must learn to operate and remain current in the operations of the P&S plant, including, but not limited to, Mix, Merco, Modified Starch, Drum Drying and the P&S Drying operations. Mechanical skills required. Monitor and maintain equipment. Perform routine maintenance as needed. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance. Daily and weekly lubrications. Fill out reports and work orders. Maintain current license for trucks, bobcats, and forklifts. Handle hazardous chemicals. Climb and work in high places and/or from ladders, roofs, etc. Work in confined spaces. Work in dusty conditions: feed-grain dusts. Subjected to temperature extremes, both hot and cold, not only due to weather, but also due to Plant processes. Housekeeping as required. Maintain sanitation level to meet AIB requirements. Operator is responsible for quality & quantity of product. Do quality checks as necessary. Complete necessary paperwork related to quality assurance. Operator must operate in a safe, efficient and productive manner. Overtime as required. Shift and Days subject to change. Wear safety equipment as required including full face respirators, etc. Perform other duties assigned by management as required. Mathematical skills required. What do you need to bring to the table?
