About The Position

AECOM Tishman has an exciting opportunity for an Owner’s Representative Project Manager for mixed-use project in Portland, ME. Job duties: Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies. Manages the integration of multiple commercial components to ensure the project meets the owner's strategic and financial goals. Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface. Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors. Requirements

  • BS Engineering/Construction Management or similar curriculum and 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Nice To Haves

  • 8 years of experience in construction project management, with a specific knowledge of large-scale multifamily or mixed-use projects.
  • Experience in working to align high-level development strategy and technical construction execution.
  • Construction experience in monitoring and maintaining budgets, reviewing requests, managing change orders, and evaluating/recommending value engineering to optimize project costs.
  • Experience as primary point of contact between the owner and all parties, including architects, general contractors, lenders, and municipal authorities.
  • Strong and applicable knowledge of contracts, delivery methods, safety standards (OSHA), and local building codes.
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and the ability to manage diverse stakeholder interests in high-stakes environments.
  • Understanding of building systems that must different occupancy types.
  • Knowledge of construction documentation such as RFP, RFI, change order management, subcontractor certification, etc.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, and construction project management software such as CMiC, Procore, Microsoft Project, etc.
