About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Owner's Manual Writer to join our engineering and technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation that empowers our customers to understand, operate, and maintain their luxury yachts with confidence. This role requires a blend of strong technical aptitude, excellent writing skills, and a passion for the marine industry.

Requirements

• Education: A bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience as a technical writer or manual writer, preferably within the marine, automotive, or a related manufacturing industry.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information simply.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate documentation.
• Proficiency in technical writing software and content management systems (experience with software like Adobe Suite or similar is a plus).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Basic computer knowledge is essential. Experience with Adobe, Excel, Word, AutoCAD , and SolidWorks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain all owner's manuals, guides, and supporting technical documentation for new and existing yacht models.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and product development teams to gather technical information, specifications, and operational procedures.
• Translate complex technical information (including blueprints, diagrams, and instructions) into user-friendly content for a non-technical audience.
• Ensure all documentation meets industry standards, safety regulations, and Tiara Yachts' brand voice and quality standards.
• Incorporate detailed illustrations, photos, and diagrams to enhance clarity and usability.
• Manage document version control and updates as product specifications and features evolve.
• Conduct peer reviews and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of all published materials.
