Owner Operators – Heavy Haul & Specialized Freight (Nationwide) A nationally established transportation carrier is looking to onboard experienced Owner Operators interested in flatbed and specialized heavy haul freight . This opportunity is best suited for professional operators seeking consistent, higher-revenue freight, percentage-based pay, and the flexibility to operate their business independently. Freight includes a wide range of specialized, oversize, and high-value loads , operating across all 48 contiguous states. Compensation & Pay Structure 3-Axle Tractor: 65% of linehaul revenue 4-Axle Tractor: 66% of linehaul revenue Owner-Provided Trailer: Additional 9.7%–11.7% (based on axle configuration) Maximum Payout: Up to 77.7% of linehaul revenue Owner Operators receive 100% of: Fuel surcharge Detention pay Tarp pay Stop-off pay Layover pay Earnings Overview Average Weekly Gross: Approximately $5,000 Average Weekly Net: $3,200–$3,400 (after insurance and standard deductions) Estimated Annual Net: $165,000–$195,000 Annual Safety Bonus: Up to $3,000 per truck for qualified operators Freight Details Flatbed, Step-Deck, RGN (6–9 axle), Stretch, and Gooseneck trailers Specialized heavy haul and oversize freight Escort and repositioning loads High-value and project-based freight No touch freight Mix of drop-and-hook and assigned trailer operations Home Time & Dispatch Typical schedule: 7–10 days out No forced dispatch Operators may run as much or as little as desired Minimum activity requirement: one load per month Deductions & Optional Services (Only applicable if utilizing company-provided services) Performance escrow: $50/week (up to $1,000 maximum) Plates and permits: $110/week (first 20 weeks only) ELD rental: $20/week Optional insurance programs available: Physical damage insurance Occupational accident coverage Bobtail insurance Non-trucking liability coverage Pay, Support & Additional Benefits Same-day pay via EFS card or direct deposit Fuel card with up to 40% fuel advance at the pump PrePass and EZ-Pass programs available 24/7 dispatch support Flexible routing and fuel stop options Online healthcare access for operators and families (low monthly cost) Orientation & Onboarding Two-day orientation Available in person (Georgia) or remotely via Zoom $1,000 orientation completion bonus Meals provided for in-person attendees Equipment & Operating Requirements ELD-compliant tractor (Motive ELD platform utilized) TWIC card not required, though it expands freight opportunities Must be qualified to operate in all 48 contiguous states
