Your Role As a Crude Oil Owner-Operator, you’ll use your truck and trailer to safely and efficiently haul crude oil between field locations. You’ll ensure every load meets quality standards, every trip meets compliance requirements, and every customer interaction reflects the professionalism of Prairie Field Services.

Requirements

  • Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements (required)
  • 2+ years of driving experience, including at least 1 year of tanker hauling (oilfield experience preferred)
  • A clean driving record:
  • No more than 3 moving violations in 5 years
  • No more than 1 in the past 12 months
  • No DUI/DWI within the past 5 years
  • A current medical card and the ability to pass a drive test with an 18-speed transmission
  • Ability to pass background check and drug & alcohol screening
  • Physical ability to:
  • Work 12–14 hour shifts
  • Drive in challenging weather and terrain
  • Chain up when necessary
  • Lift 75 lbs and climb stairs repeatedly
  • Your own truck and trailer that meet all DOT and company requirements
  • A strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to safety

  • oilfield experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Load, test, and transport crude oil safely and accurately following all A.P.I. standards.
  • Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety guidelines.
  • Complete required paperwork and electronic logs accurately and on time.
  • Maintain your truck and equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
  • Safely operate in oilfield terrain and variable weather conditions.
  • Communicate proactively with dispatch, field personnel, and customers.
  • Represent Prairie Field Services with professionalism and integrity in every interaction.
