About The Position

The Overt Officer (Debriefer) position at the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) involves developing and maintaining relationships with various partners, including intelligence community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) personnel, as well as host-nation counterparts. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to make informed decisions, and the capacity to produce complex written products tailored to specific audiences. This position is critical for ensuring the successful operations of the agency, particularly in relation to sensitive topics and inter-agency collaboration.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to pass a drug test and security investigation.
• Experience working on the Vietnam War POW/MIA accounting mission in Vietnam is highly desired.
• Knowledge of Vietnamese culture, geography, history, and language ability at the 3/3/3 DLPT level is preferred.
• Experience working with foreign government officials is a plus.
