We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations/Warehouse Supervisor to join the Team. Job Summary: Day-to-day oversight of warehouse operations while leading a team of associates in a refrigerated warehouse and below zero-degree environment. Executing shipping/receiving responsibilities safely, productively, and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials. Ensure operations run smoothly so we can ensure the product is received, processed, stored, packed, and shipped properly. Supervise all phases of warehouse operations including loading operations and material handling activities. 50% of the shift will be spent on the warehouse floor directing staff in a refrigerated warehouse and below zero-degree environment. Supervise, evaluate, and train employees assigned to the warehouse.

Requirements

Proven record of monitoring employee productivity and accuracy to ensure efficiency.
Support compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, and rules.
Ability to oversee a demanding environment.
Maintain a positive, purposeful work environment in the Warehouse.
Three to five years of supervisory experience in a distribution warehouse.
Use computer and warehouse management software to log, track, and report data.
Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Monitor and assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
Ability to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to use warehouse equipment – forklifts, electric pallet jacks
Strong collaborator and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines
Ability to select, coach, develop, engage, and retain a team of employees
3 Years warehouse supervisory experience.
Minimum Associates degree with Bachelor’s degree preferred
