About The Position

Exhaustion, daunting caseload, divided attention among hospitalized and incoming cases? These are just some of the workload-associated stressors that ER veterinarians routinely experience. It is for the love of Emergency Medicine that we each continue to expose ourselves to the physical and mental challenges of this profession. The owners of Animal ER Care (AERC) are striving to change the current experience of ER medicine to create a rewarding and sustainable environment. We continually evaluate caseload trends as we strive to achieve a work / life harmony for our entire team. Our doctors are supported with a high-level medical team: we have separate technicians for our ICU and treatment areas, and a dedicated triage technician whose primary role is prioritization of incoming cases and client education/liaison.
