About The Position
The Overnight Task Team Outfitter plays a crucial role in the operational functions and overall health of the retail store campus at Bass Pro Shops. This position is designed to alleviate the burden of non-selling tasks from the Sales Outfitters, thereby enhancing the customer service experience and maximizing selling opportunities. The Overnight Task Team Outfitter will focus on completing various non-selling tasks during overnight hours, allowing for a more efficient and dedicated approach to these responsibilities. Key responsibilities include conducting general replenishment across all product areas such as Fishing, Hunting, Camping, Marine/Water Sports, Apparel, Footwear, Hunt Clothing, and Gifts. The Outfitter will also support inventory management in collaboration with the Inventory Control team by performing on-demand counts, scanning empty pegs, and ensuring display integrity. Additionally, the role involves executing temporary and permanent price changes, which includes tagging, signage updates, and reviewing inventory adjustments. The Overnight Task Team Outfitter will be responsible for recovery tasks across various departments, which entails folding, repackaging, sorting, facing, and re-hanging merchandise. Visual merchandising support is also a key function of this role, including fixture replacement, updating signage, managing end caps, and dressing mannequins. The Outfitter will assist in the preparation and setup of merchandise for advertisements and perform resets for assigned departments as needed. Furthermore, the role includes supporting planogram execution and maintenance across all hardlines departments and assisting with OMNI fulfillment during peak business periods. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
