About The Position

The Overnight Support Services Associate I will be responsible for maintaining facility safety, order, and cleanliness and will provide backup assistance to other staff. Scheduled: Monday - Friday, 10:00PM - 6:30AM Starting Pay: $21.30 + $1.00 shift differential (9:00PM - 6:00AM) How you will serve Perform janitorial duties, including duties left over from a different shift. Assess and record safety hazards and maintenance needs. Perform random and frequent walks through the entire interior of the building. Record evening report in the staff log at the end of each shift. Handle issues that may arise with individuals during an overnight night shift (if applicable) Do occasional room checks or searches as needed. Respond to emergency calls on overnight phone (if applicable) Assist with a variety of administrative duties. Act as backup to Guest Services by performing Breathalyzer tests and Urine Analysis drug screens for individuals entering the building after curfew or returning from the hospital. Handle office telephones and monitor incoming people. Record and organize messages for clients and staff. Provide referrals for callers when necessary. Participate in organizational meetings, training, and initiatives as required. Perform other duties assigned to support the Mission’s success.

Requirements

  • Acknowledge and sign the Mission's Statement of Faith (see below).
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Staying awake during overnight hours (if assigned to that shift) is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Services experience is highly preferred.
  • Previous janitorial experience is preferred.
