About The Position

The Overnight Supervisor assists with the supervision and scheduling of residential overnight staff in order to ensure the safety and well -being of the residents and staff of the Residential Treatment Program.
You will work a schedule of either Sunday-Thursday OR Tuesday-Saturday

Success in the role is measured on your ability to:

Provide direct supervision to overnight staff while serving as a role model for the team.
Coordinate with residential management regarding operational concerns, disciplinary issues, etc.
Provide for the timely completion of Overnight Workers’ performance reviews.
Ensure all overnight workers’ job duties are effectively completed.
Adhere to critical incident protocols according to best practices and policies.
Provide back-up to any staff requiring assistance.
Continually manage staffing needs in order to adhere to licensing regulations.

Requirements

• Shall possess at least one year of college or HS Diploma.
• At least six months child care experience; supervising/training experience or training in a residential program environment preferred.
• Satisfactory combination of experience, education, and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform those duties.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; conversation and listening skills.
• Ability to travel, if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must maintain adequate insurance coverage.
• Must have/maintain a valid driver’s license and fewer than 3 points on record

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or business related field preferred.
• Experience working in a licensed residential program, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with the Director of Residential Services and the Operations Manager regarding operational needs, scheduling issues, performance reviews, training requirements and any disciplinary issues.
• Effectively supervises staff during shift to ensure compliance with licensing and program requirements.
• Provide back-up to any staff requiring assistance with the residents.
• Ensure staffing ratios are met.
• Holds at least quarterly Overnight Team meeting for purposes of training, problem solving and planning.
• Provide assistance with other duties as assigned.
• Fulfills annual training requirements and monitors that staff training requirements are met.
• Demonstrates leadership skills and serves as a role model.
