About The Position

When the store is quiet, the Overnight Store Lead is hard at work making sure everything is ready for our guests the next day. At Coborn’s, this role is all about leadership, teamwork, and pride in a job well done. You’ll guide the overnight crew, keep the store clean and organized, and ensure shelves are stocked, faced, and ready for a great shopping experience when the doors open. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working overnight hours, leading a team, and playing a key role in the success of the store behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the overnight crew, providing guidance, coaching, and direction throughout the shift.
  • Oversee overnight store operations including unloading and breaking down deliveries and checking product for accuracy and quality.
  • Stock shelves, coolers, and displays following FIFO practices to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store, including aisles, sales floor, and backroom areas.
  • Support strong merchandising by ensuring products are faced, displays are built to standard, and the store looks guest-ready.
  • Monitor the store for safety and loss prevention concerns during overnight hours.
  • Assist with inventory tasks and other operational needs as requested by store leadership.
  • Operate the cash register as needed, providing friendly and accurate service.
  • Deliver remarkable guest service by greeting overnight guests, offering assistance, and helping them find what they need.
  • Address guest questions or concerns promptly and escalate to leadership when needed.
