About The Position

To assist customers in their shopping experience by properly stocking shelves and displays in the most efficient, friendly, and courteous manner possible.

Requirements

  • Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino’s Learning Plan.
  • Knowledge and implementation of the Cosentino’s Customer Service Standards.
  • Ability to quickly unload and sort incoming shipments and neatly stock them in their designated areas without damaging merchandise.
  • Ability to keep back room and cooler/freezer areas neat and ready for new deliveries.
  • Ability to quickly and neatly stock grocery shelves by matching item UPCs codes to shelf tags and using the “face front” display method.
  • Ability to support the inventory process by accurately counting and recording merchandise.
  • Ability to monitor products for any damaged, un-saleable, or returnable products that should be removed and follow proper procedures for damage claims.
  • Ability to operate, clean and maintain all equipment safely and competently.
  • Ability to meet or exceed productivity standards to produce desired team and individual results.
  • Ability to monitor all expiration dates and ensure that ad items are properly rotated.
  • Ability to actively work to keep your work area and your department clean and safe for customers and coworkers.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with all health regulations, sanitation guidelines and safety procedures for your department and your store.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills necessary for positive customer and peer interactions.
  • Basic math and reading skills required for the position.
