About The Position

Position Overview: Overnight Stock Supervisor The Overnight Stock Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in executing overnight inventory and replenishment operations, ensuring store is fully stocked, organized, and prepared for daily business. This role oversees overnight stock associates , coordinates workload execution, and ensures operational, safety, and company standards are consistently met. The Supervisor serves as the on-site leaders during overnight shifts, partnering with store leadership to deliver accurate inventory flow, efficient stock room operations, and readiness of customer facing areas.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2+ years of retail operations or stockroom experience , with prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast paced, overnight environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members and leadership
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, read computer terminals, push, pull or move objects of at least 25 pounds
  • Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom including repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing
  • Ability to work an overnight shift from 9:30PM-6:30AM/10PM-7AM that meets the business needs, including weekends and holidays
  • Restrictions on availability limited to two days on weekdays.
  • Open availability on weekends (religious exemptions will be considered).

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervisor, and direct overnight stock associates to ensure efficient execution of receiving, processing, and replenishment activities
  • Assign workload, set priorities, and manage task flow to meet nightly operational goals
  • Ensure customer facing areas and stockroom are fully stocked, organized, and prepared for store opening
  • Execute and oversee floor moves, merchandising changes, and special operational projects as directed by store leadership
  • Identify and escalate inventory discrepancies, damages, or operational risks
  • Provide real time guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to overnight associates
  • Support onboarding and training of new overnight team members
  • Serve as the primary overnight point of contact for store leadership
  • Communicate nightly progress, challenges, and handoff notes to day leadership team
  • Support store leadership with operational insights and improvement opportunities
  • Establishes and maintains a positive work environment that supports high team member morale.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards; report concerns or infractions
